Australian Wood Duck 

The Australian Wood Duck, or Maned “Goose”, is a medium-sized duck with highly distinctive, goose-like features, a plump body, long legs, and a small, stubby bill. The male has mostly black plumage; a brown-gray breast speckled by black and white spots;  gray flanks streaked with fine black marks; and a dark line running from the shoulder along the tertial feathers. The female is similar to the male, though she has a paler head, a white eyebrow, and a second white stripe below the eye.
