Baikal Teal

The Baikal Teal is a small, decorative duck that is popular in waterfowl collections. The breeding male’s head has a dark crown, a green nape, and yellow and black auriculars, neck, and throat. His breast is light brown with dark spots. It has long dropping dark scapulars, and its  and his grey sides are set off on the front and rear with white bars. Females are reddish-brown with a white spot on the face at the base of the bill.
